A FINE, EARLY SIMON & HALBIG 939. An earlier example with thick oily bisque on a straight wristed, eight ball-jointed wood and composition body. Her pale bisque with exceptional modeling, amber paperweight eyes, and open mouth with square-cut teeth add to the appeal of this doll. Doll has antique brown shoes and undergarments. She retains a brown human hair wig. SIZE: 22” t. CONDITION: Bisque head appears to be free of damage, lack two fingers on left hand, normal wear to body. Minor chip on left ear, minute cheek scuffs present. JL 1-4584 (1,500-2,000)
