*FINE EARLY COLT GOVERNMENT MODEL SEMI-AUTO PISTOL. SN C13292. Cal. 45 ACP. Blue finish with 5″ bbl, orig thin fixed sights and mounted with diamond checkered walnut grips. Accompanied by an orig 2-tone lanyard loop magazine. Left rear end of slide and left side of frame below thumb safety and bbl have British proofs. Grips are modern replacements. PROVENANCE: John Irwin Estate Collection. CONDITION: Very fine. Overall retains 92-93% glossy orig factory blue with minor nicks & scratches and sharp edge wear. Front strap has a series of small scratches near the toe and some light dulling. Grip safety & spring housing retain strong orig blue.
