SHARPS CONVERSION RIFLE.

SHARPS CONVERSION RIFLE. Cal 40 2-1/2. SN C41126. Meacham style conversion with 30” oct bbl, Sharps ladder rear sight, missing the slide, and silver blade homemade Rocky Mountain front sight. It has a Sharps-style splinter forearm with straight stock and carbine buttplate with checkered wrist and DBL set triggers. The buttstock has several patterns of holes where tacks were removed. CONDITION: Good to very good. No original finish remains with all the metal being a mottled gray-brown patina. Mechanics are good. Stock is missing a large chip by the top tang. Otherwise the wood is sound with traces of original finish. Bore is strong and bright with scattered light pitting. 4-50946 JR12 (2,500-5,000)
