LARGE TEPLITZ STYLE FLOOR VASE. Early 20th century. The square molded vase with flared rim and bulbous base, modeled with pendant floral vinery, centering a robed maiden holding a floral spray. The base rim flared with canted corners, the whole decorated in shades of pink, green, and ivory. Marked “Made in Czechoslovakie” in blue circle underglaze with incised number “1307 0”. SIZE: 34-1/2″ h. x 14″ w. x 12″ d. PROVENANCE: From an extensive private Gulf Coast collection. CONDITION: Hairline crack at back of vase, parallel to ground, twelve inches up from base. Small hairline on one corner of base rim. Otherwise very good. 9-93340 (800-1,200)
