EARLY ROMAN GLASS VESSEL. Extremely nice early Roman glass vessel is done in swirling colors of amber and brown with a rounded bottom and flaring lip with applied brown glass thread just below the lip. Vase is mounted on museum stand. SIZE: Vase is 3-1/4″ t. Overall 5-1/4″ t. PROVENANCE: A gift to the Maine State Museum being sold to benefit the museums acquisition fund. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with only minor corrosion. 5-61588 (100-200)
