20” UNUSUAL PINK LUSTRE CHINA. An unprecedented china with great molding! A slightly haughty look with a pursed mouth, molded eyelids, and a fancy hairdo add to the desirability of this doll. Upon close examination, one notices the center part that is embraced by the braided hair crossing the crown and twisting into a bun at the back of the head. On a cloth body with leather arms, wearing a cotton print dress and an olive green apron with red piping, a collector might look years to obtain a doll of this quality and rarity. She has a molded dress plate with three sew holes in front and also in rear. SIZE: 20” t. CONDITION: Overall condition is excellent; minor divot to china on forehead. JL 1-4428 (1,400-1,800)
