*DELUXE WINCHESTER MODEL 1886 LIGHTWEIGHT RIFLE. Cal. 33 WCF. SN 129257. Special order rifle with 24” tapered rnd bbl, pedestal mounted ivory bead front sight, no rear sight & a Lyman 56 receiver sight. Left side of receiver has two plugged holes, apparently from a Lyman 21 side sight having been removed. Mounted with nicely figured, “I” style checkered American walnut with capped pistol grip and Winchester hard rubber buttplate. CONDITION: Good to very good. Overall retains 65-70% thinning orig blue with some chemical staining at left side at muzzle. Wood is sound with light handling & use marks showing heavy wear and a small gouge on the forearm with equally heavy wear on wrist and buttstock retaining about 75% orig varnish.
