STEUBEN BLUE AURENE FAN VASE. Very nice Steuben fan vase, Shape #6297 has white leaf and vine ornamentation set against a beautiful blue aurene background with platinum and purple highlights. Unsigned. A similar example is illustrated in The Glass of Frederick Carder by Gardner, page 280, ill. 6297 and in Frederick Carder & Steuben Glass by Tom Dimitroff, page 247, ill. 10.120. Another example of this vase is pictured as shape #6297 on the Carder Steuben Club’s website. SIZE: 8-3/4″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with three small scratches to top of foot. 5-65335 (2,000-2,500)
