SILVER PLATED SEVEN PIECE TEA AND COFFEE SERVICE BY MERIDEN WITH OUTSTANDING ADDED TRAY. Set consists of a large 34” (with handles) x 23” d two handled tray with pierced side, beaded edge, fancy handles and marked “J * C 250”. The other pieces marked “Meriden Brit’a Company” with pattern number “1859”. A tall 13” h footed coffeepot; 12” and 11-1/2” teapots; 10” covered sugar; 6” open sugar; 6-1/4” waster bowl and 7” creamer. PROVENANCE: Estate of Maria M. Viveiros, New Bedford, Massachusetts. CONDITION: There is a hole in one of the handles of the 11-1/2” teapot. Otherwise very good. 9-28771 (700-1000)
