THREE ANCIENT GLASS VESSELS. 1) Early octagonal shaped purple glass vase with slightly flaring rim. 2) Early blue glass pitcher with missing handle leaving hole in the pitcher where handle attaches on lip and body. Interesting blue glass with good iridescence. 3) Handled vial in aqua-green glass with back half of rim missing. Applied handle is intact. Some corrosion to the glass and some light iridescence. SIZE: Ranges from 3-1/4″ to 5-1/4″ t. PROVENANCE: A gift to the Maine State Museum being sold to benefit the museums acquisition fund.
