THREE CHINESE EXPORT PLATES. 20th century. Two plates decorated with a Famille Rose floral border each headed with an eagle’s bust. One an interior boudoir scene, the second an exterior scene of an elderly gentleman seated on a horse regarding a younger man carrying a scroll. A third example decorated overall with an interior domestic scene showing a group of woman around a table holding fans and a basket of flowers, a male figure with a tray of tea. SIZE: All 7-3/4″ dia. PROVENANCE: From the private collection of Dorothy-Lee Jones. CONDITION: The pair with minor roughness to edges, and some small losses to painted enamel surfaces, otherwise very good.
