IMPORTANT S. KIRK & SON SILVER REPOUSSE COFFEE AND TEA SERVICE. Mid-19th century. The seven-piece sterling silver service consisting of a coffeepot on stand, a tall and a short teapot, a covered two-handle sugar bowl, a cream pitcher, a waste bowl, and a matching serving tray. The matching pieces in the “Kirk Rose” pattern with floral finials. The oval tray monogrammed with a “W” within an oval reserve framed in flowerheads, the other pieces monogrammed “EVanWW” in script on the bottoms. Each piece clearly hallmarked “S. KIRK & SON”. Total weight: 206 troy ounces. SIZE: POT ON STAND: 12-1/4″ overall h. TALL POT: 8-1/4″ h. TRAY: 25-3/4″ overall l. PROVENANCE: From a coastal Maine estate. CONDITION: Very fine condition.
