*FINE BROWNING MEDALIST SEMI-AUTO PISTOL WITH CASE & ACCESSORIES. SN 26772U3S. Cal. 22 LR. Blue finish with 6-3/4″ vent rib bbl, partridge front sight and full adjustable rear sight. It has gold plated trigger and is mounted with fine rosewood checkered thumb rest stock and tiny schnable tip forearm. Accompanied by its orig black leatherette covered, red velvet lined case recessed in bottom for the pistol, a cartridge block, weight adapter, three weights and 2-blade folding screwdriver. Right rear bottom of inside of case has an embossed oval brass Browning ID plate and the lid is missing its plate. These pistols were only produced in the period 1964-1975 in Belgium by Fabrique Nationale. CONDITION: Pistol is extremely fine retaining virtually all of its strong orig factory finish, having been fired but very little. The deflector pin in top right side of grip is still present. Grip & forearm are sound with one or two very minor scuffs in the finish and overall retain about all of their orig factory finish. Case has very slightly worn corners with the lid plate screws still in place and has slight soil in pistol recess and is completely sound & original. 4-39264 JR305 (1,000-2,000)
