FINE TWO PART OAK HALL BENCH AND MIRROR. The free standing bench having a lift seat with open compartment, two scroll arms with nice carving and melon supports. The base with two horizontal raised panels and reeded sides. All resting on compressed ball feet. The back with five raised panels and decorative scrolled crest. Nice use of quartered oak. The separate mirror with large rectangular beveled edge mirror. The frame having a central large fan shell type carving with leaves on either side. Cornice molding. PROVENANCE: Estate of Maria M. Viveiros, New Bedford, Massachusetts. SIZE: Mirror is 50” h x 52-1/4” at widest. Bottom section is 43” h x 55” at widest x 20” d. CONDITION: Very good. 9-28759 (1000-1500)
