FINE NEW ENGLAND HOOKED RUG. Circa 1950. This excellent oval example hooked in the “HARVEST” pattern, featuring a wide band of grape clusters, apples, pumpkins, gourds, etc. amongst leafy vinery, all in soft yet vibrant polychrome colors, centering a conforming ‘pearlized’ field. The carpet with a stylized scallop shell border in pinks and purples, finished with a charcoal gray outer edge. SIZE: Approx. 9’10” x 7’11”. CONDITION: Overall very good, the outer edges of rug with minor pulls and losses. 9-95130 (1,500-2,000)
