VERY EARLY STONEWARE BOWL. Beautiful very early glazed stoneware bowl has black geometric pattern on the interior with remnants of old glaze showing some iridescence from age. No information came with the bowl but design and glaze appear to be early Persian. SIZE: 5″ dia. PROVENANCE: A gift to the Maine State Museum being sold to benefit the museums acquisition fund. CONDITION: Very good with one section of rim broken out and glued back with one small piece missing. 5-61587 (300-500)
