HAND FORGED TOMAHAWK/HAND AXE. Early trade axe with 6” hand forged head, 2-3/4” wide blade, 1-1/2” socket with a crude old handle made from a limb. The handle still has knots and a number of bug holes. CONDITION: The head retains a very dark brown patina and the handle several grain checks that are filled with some sort of wax or putty but appears sound. 4-48961 JR750 (500-1,000)
