PRENDERGAST (American, First half of the 20th Century) A STROLL ON THE BEACH. Oil on masonite scene shows a woman in white summer dress with white parasol next to a woman in blue dress with bouquet of flowers. They stroll along what appears to be a sandy beach. Signed lower right “Prendergast 1935″. We are unsure which Prendergast this is by as the date coincides with Charles, the signature corresponds with Maurice. Housed in a gold gesso decorated frame. SIZE: 14-3/4″ x 12”. CONDITION: Very good. 9-95713 (4,000-6,000)
