GEORGE WAINWRIGHT HARVEY (American, 1855-1930) ESSEX MARSHES. Fine pastel sunset scene shows a marsh area with tidal river having recently harvested sea grass formed into large stacks. The sand dunes are seen beyond. All under a fabulous colorful yellow to pink to blue sky which is reflected in the water. Two small boats are seen on the right side along with the signature. Housed in an outstanding, possibly original, gilt frame with gilt liner, behind glass. SIZE: Sight: 15″ x 29″. CONDITION: Very good. 9-99405 (2,000-3,000)
