*LOT OF WWII HANDGUNS, BAYONETS & NAZI PHOTO ALBUM. (1) 1940 / 42 German Luger. Cal. 9 mm. SN 1776c. Complete with holster, spare magazine & tool. Usual configuration with 4″ bbl, all blue including the normally straw colored parts with full-checkered walnut grips. It is accompanied by one orig matching magazine, another aluminum base magazine numbered “2504t”, an unmarked tool and a “Kriegsmarine” marked black leather holster. It has the cleaning rod pouch and a tool pouch in the top and is dated “1926” inside but has a Waffenampt 78 adjacent to it. The back of the holster is marked with a large “M” over an anchor. CONDITION: Extremely fine, all matching, except the grips, which are unnumbered. 97% strong orig blue, bright shiny bore. Magazine is also crisp as is the spare magazine. Holster has been re-polished with some crackling on the body. (2) Remington Rand 1911A1. Cal. 45 ACP. SN 1583447. All orig, brown plastic grips, 95% orig Parkerizing, lightly pitted bore. A Boyt 42 orig holster that is very fine accompanies it. (3) German 98 bayonet with red synthetic handles, steel scabbard & leather frog, near new condition. (4) French cruciform spike bayonet, 13-3/8″ blade, brass handle, steel scabbard, and fine condition. (5) Maroon cloth covered photo album containing 19 double-sided pages of mostly German military pictures beginning in 1934. Most of the photos appear to be orig snapshots, except a few which may be copies. Many include Hitler, Himmler, Goering, Rohm, Heidrich and others as well as photographs of what is believed to be the owner of this album, a tall slim young fellow who appears in a number of the barracks life snapshots. Most of the photographs are captioned in German writing. One photograph shows Hitler on the street with a group of military personnel humorously looking at a young boy dressed in storm trooper outfit with his mother nearby. Also included is an iron cross ribbon. In the back are four loose photographs including one of an incinerated tanker. There are also four hand-written postcards that appear to be from the war years with the last one dated 1942, all written in German. Also included are some U.S. WWII ribbons, a marksman badge, uniform, PFC stripes, a 50-cal dummy round, 1797 thick British copper coin, several Nazi coins, 1899 and 1908 German 5 Mark coins, a Civil War token and others. Also included is a framed reproduced map showing the route of the 20th Armored Division from the time it left Camp Campbell all the way in to Germany. There is also a U.S. web belt and police whistle, all contained in a green duffel bag. 4-53634 JR698 (2,000-3,000)
