LIMOGES TILE PLAQUE. Hand-painted tile depicting a working horse, possibly a Percheron, with harness, reins and work equipment. The horse is standing in a slightly barren field, and the overall plaque is painted in soft hues of blue, gray, brown and other earthen colors. The workmanship is of very high quality. Artist signed “Hodkinson”. Plaque is mounted in a frame. SIZE: Framed 17″ x 14″. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with two minor touch-ups to sky area. 5-69601 (500-700)
