HANDEL GRIFFIN LAMP BASE. Nice Handel lamp base features three winged griffins at the feet supporting a vertically ribbed stem leading to a three socket cluster. Base is topped with an openwork fleur de lis cap and is finished in a rich brown patina. Each socket has an acorn pull chain. Signed on the underside with raised block letters “Handel”. SIZE: 25-1/2″ t. CONDITION: Very good with small ding to corner of one foot. Base has been rewired with appropriate cloth cord. 5-62278 (2,500-3,500)
