FRAMED WWII BATTLE SCENE. By Ernst Halberstadt. The exposed image size is 35” x 28”, horizontal. In mostly earth tones and depicting a British anti-aircraft battery with search lights and guns firing at what apparently are Nazi bombers. There is a crashed Nazi airplane on the right side, with others burning in the sky. A very dynamic and powerful painting. It is single matted and framed in a fine custom frame. CONDITION: It is extremely fine with the colors vivid and bright. The matting and frame are equally fine. 4-47870 JR774 (500-800)
