*AUTO-ORDNANCE KOREAN WAR COMMEMORATIVE 1927A1 THOMPSON SEMI-AUTO CARBINE. Cal. 45 ACP. SN KW116. Issued by the American Historical Foundation, this Thompson commemorates the Korean War 1950-1953. It is high polished blue with gold Cuts-compensator, trigger and rear sight. The sling swivels are also gold plated. It has the American flag and commemorative information on right side of receiver, Korean service medallions on both sides of the stock, and an honor medallion with American eagle on the right side of the grip. The wood is highly finished straight grain walnut with squared grasping groove forearm. It is accompanied by an original 50 round Thompson drum and its velvet lined glass top presentation case. It also has a short stick magazine and the bolt parts are in a bag. CONDITION: As new, appears to be unfired, retains virtually all of its original fine factory finish with minor chips in varnish. Good mechanics, bright shiny bore. 4-53783 (1,500-2,000)
