*MAUSER MODEL 1896 SMALL RING SEMI-AUTO BROOMHANDLE PISTOL. SN 214326. Cal. 30 Mauser. Blue finish with 5-1/2″ tapered rnd bbl that has integral barleycorn front sight and 1,000 meter adjustable rear sight. Mounted with matching numbered walnut grip panels with re-cut grooves and has a lanyard ring in the butt. Accompanied by its orig matching numbered walnut stock holster. Stock holster has a repaired longitudinal grain crack on back side. Numbers on the stock iron are different size & font from the pistol and may have been added. CONDITION: Very good to fine. Retains virtually all of a fine professionally restored finish with some light dings & scratches over the SN below the takedown latch. Mechanics are fine, strong bore, frosty in the grooves. Stock with its repaired crack retains most of a professionally restored finish. 4-39268 JR298 (1,000-2,000)
