UNSIGNED (Chinese, 19th Century) CHINESE HARBOR SCENE. Chinese export oil on canvas harbor scene shows large three-mast Chinese sailing ship with two men aboard. Partial sails and decorative banners. A number of other boats are seen next to stone fort with cannons and military guard. Mountains are seen in background. Housed in a simple gilt frame liner. SIZE: 18” x 23-1/2”. CONDITION: Horizontal tear across whole painting through masts and sky. Three large canvas patches to tears below. As is. 9-97564 (200-400)
