LEHMANN AFRICA OSTRICH CART. Nearly identical to the Lehmann Zulu, this very unusual toy has an African driver operating an ostrich driven cart. Toy has a rear section box with opening at the top where a coin can be deposited, so it was used as a bank as well as a toy. This toy is driven by a friction motor. SIZE: 7-1/2″ l. CONDITION: Fair with discoloration to ostrich and driver. Most of the lithographed cart is lacking finish. As is typical, the riding crop is likely a replacement. 1-11219 (400-600)
