*WINCHESTER PROTOTYPE MODEL 59 SEMI-AUTO SHOTGUN. Cal. 20ga. Fine deluxe shotgun with experimental 24” plain fiberglass bbl choked CYL, 1 of only a few ever produced. Standard alloy receiver etch engraved with No. 5 pattern. Trigger guard is bright aluminum. Nicely figured wood with triple diamond checkered beavertail forearm and straight stock with hard rubber buttplate. Accompanied by a letter from Abercrombie & Fitch dated March 11, 1976 to Mr. Henry E. Coe III of New York in which this shotgun is identified and is stated that only 9 were made. SN EXP27A. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Retains virtually all its original factory finish with a couple of mars on bbl and one or two minor handling and storage marks on the wood.
