LARGE EARLY BENT WOOD CANTEEN. 7-1/4″ diameter. 2-1/4″ thick black painted canteen has white painted 2″ high letters “M.S.” on one side, 7/16″ branded letters “N-R” on the opposite and the cut initials “LPL” also on the reverse. CONDITION: One of the carrying strap holders is broken and badly flaked, the others are good. There is a slight crack in the front side. The black paint shows little wear except on the edges.
