15” BISQUE SHOULDER HEAD DOLL. Incised “3” on the front of the shoulder, “F.G” on the back within a scroll. This doll has blue glass stationary eyes, gusseted leather body, appropriately redressed in teal blue velvet skirt and shirtwaist with ivory lace trim. Wearing a dark blond wig in an upswept braided coiffeur and an antique straw hat with cloth flowers and silk ribbon bow. CONDITION: Doll is lacking shoes; minor speckling on left cheek, slight roughness at nose tip, body shows appropriate wear due to age; good quality bisque. RS 1-3356 (1,800-2,200)
