E. KOHLER HAMMER UNDER LEVER DRILLING. Cal. 16ga X 16ga/9.3x 72. Fine old hammer drilling with 27-1/4” bbls, oval back action locks engraved with birds and dogs with receiver engraved with running raebuck and foliate patterns. Top rib has articulated rear sight and the right trigger is set. Pistol grip stock has a small cheek piece with 5-hole toe trap engraved with an auerhan and foliate patterns with horn grip cap and buttplate. SN 407. CONDITION: About good. Bbls retain about 60% dull blue turning plum, receiver and lockplates are silver. Wood is sound with numerous nicks and scratches. Shows heavy wear. The under lever return spring is broken. Buttplate has chipped toe. Bores are pitted. 4-48357 JR470 (400-700)
