UNUSUAL KAMMER AND REINHARDT CHARACTER BABY. Lovely and well modeled baby with nicely modeled hair with the head incised “GERMANY SIMON & HALBIG K*R 56 127n”. He has blue glass sleep eyes painted upper and lower lashes open mouth with separately molded tongue and mounted on the original five piece bent limb body and redressed in white cotton knit sweater. SIZE: 22″ (56cm). CONDITION: Excellent bisque, long hair eyelashes most likely replaced, lacking upper teeth, either missing or dislodged in head. Body has been well repainted. 1-7762 (500-700)
