*BROWNING GRADE 3 SEMI-AUTO RIFLE. Cal. 22LR. SN 1T10459. Belgian made Browning’s patent rifle with 19” rnd bbl, brass bead front sight with folding rear sight. The wood is beautifully grained French marble cake walnut with skip line checkered beavertail forearm and pistol grip stock with serrated steel buttplate. The receiver is spectacularly full coverage engraved with vignettes of a setter and three pheasants in a woodland scene on the left side, a setter or spaniel with three flushing ducks in a marsh scene on the right side and a spaniel holding a dead duck on the top. Both sides are artist signed “N. Watrin”. The engraving is all surrounded by very well executed foliate and geometric patterns. The trigger guard and floor plate are matching engraved and it has a gold trigger. Accompanied by its original Styrofoam lined black 2-pc box. CONDITION: Exceptionally fine, as new, probably unfired, retaining virtually all of its original brilliant factory finish. Stock has one or two scattered tiny handling and storage nicks.
