14” FRENCH BEBE MARKED “M 4”. French Bebe on an eight ball-jointed, straight wristed, marked Jumeau body with blue paperweight eyes (factory eyelash miss on left lower rim) and uniform bisque. Doll is wearing a gold taffeta dress, antique leather shoes and a replacement human hair wig (earring holes pulled through). The doll still retains the original spring in the head. CONDITION: Some very minor cheek blemishes, a slight nose rub and a chip to the bisque rim at rear of head. Bisque head shows pouring ripples close to rim on forehead. 1-811 JL44 (1,300-1,600)
