HOCHST FLORAL DECORATED SQUARE BOWL. Last quarter 18th century. The square bowl embossed with floral swags and hand painted with polychrome painted swags and sprays. Of square form with inset corners marked within the base with a Hochst star in underglaze-purple. SIZE: 3-1/4″ h x 8″ square. PROVENANCE: From the private collection of Dorothy-Lee Jones. CONDITION: Very good with normal and expected wear to gilt rim. A vertical firing crack in one corner at rim. 9-23326 (400-600)
