KPM PORTRAIT PLAQUE. Very lovely KPM plaque is a portrait of a young peasant woman with thick brown hair and a blue scarf tied around her neck. She is wearing a white peasant blouse with green print skirt and laced bodice. The girl has a Mona Lisa type smile and piercing brown eyes. Plaque is framed within a gold painted frame with velvet liner. Signed on the back with impressed “KPM” also carries an original retailer’s paper label “Franz Xaver Phathallmaier Munchen”. SIZE: Plaque 9-3/4″ x 7-1/2″. Overall 14-1/2″ x 17-1/2″. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with some looseness to the joints of the frame at the corners. 5-60572 (2,500-3,500)
