*1915 DWM LUGER WITH ORIGINAL TYPE HOLSTER AND SPARE MAG. SN 8845 b. Cal. 9 mm. 4″ Barrel has military proof on top, with SN and caliber markings on bottom. Receiver has military proofs on right, “1915” on ring, and SN on left side. Sear has not been altered. Frame has stock lug with “Gesichert” stamped in top safety position. Front is stamped with SN. Central link of toggle has DWM logo. Extractor is marked “Geladen”. All numbered small parts are matching, with the exception of the right grip which is unnumbered. Left grip is stamped “45”. Nickel-plated magazine has beech base plug marked “460” and “+”. Brown military holster has indecipherable incised makers stamp, but the date “1915” is legible. There is also an indecipherable ink stamp with date “1917” legible. With holster is spare nickel-plated magazine with beech base plug, numbered “7194”. CONDITION: Very fine. Retaining 90-95% blue, with some pitting around muzzle, and on left side of front sight bolster. Silvered on high points. Grip straps show slight freckling. Small area of pinprick pitting on bottom of left flat of frame. Edges and high points on sideplate are silver. Takedown lever, trigger, and ejector retain 50% of their watery straw. Safety lever is mostly gray. Bore is excellent, with just a hint of frosting in grooves. Walnut grips have slight wear, and are slightly dirty. Magazine is very fine. Holster is fine with normal marks and rubs from use. Some stitching of spare magazine pocket has lifted at top. 4-39249 MGM87 (1,500-2,500)
