*ROCK ISLAND ARSENAL MODEL 1903 MILITARY RIFLE. Cal. 30-06. SN 151155. Standard early 1903 with “RIA 8-09” dated bbl. It has standard features with early orig upper hand guard and grasping groove stock with only a small “P” proof on the left flat. It is accompanied by a “1918” orig military sling. CONDITION: Fine. Metal retains 75-80% thin orig finish showing light to moderate wear. Stock, probably a field or later arsenal replacement, is fine with light nicks, dings & scratches and retains most of a fine oil finish. Mechanics are fine, strong bright bore, frosty in the grooves. 4-55329 JR711 (900-1,400)
