LOUIS XV STYLE BOULE AND BRASS INLAID AND EBONIZED SEWING TABLE WITH DORE BRONZE MOUNTS. Circa 1800. Round inlaid hinged top with serpentine gilt metal mounted edges opening to the fitted interior, the conforming frieze cast with gilt metal mounts of floral sprays, raised on cabriole legs cast with dogs head and dragon gilt bronze mounts, joined to a shaped medial shelf raised on bronze sabots with cast leaf tips. SIZE: 29″ h x 20″ dia. CONDITION: With overall losses to boule and brass stringing, in need of restoration with no severe structural defects. 9-90883 (600-1,000)
