HANDEL WISTERIA TABLE LAMP. One of the most desirable and expensive of all the Handel leaded lamps and one of the more desirable and more expensive Tiffany leaded lamps produced is the magnificent wisteria. This beautiful and massive leaded shade depicts a recurring design of 12 wisteria flowers in shades of purple, lavender, amethyst and blue with yellow centers, set against foliage in a multitude of green hues. Hanging wisteria vines are constructed in earthen hues and the accentuated irregular border gives the shade a true three dimensional affect. The shade is fitted to a five socket base decorated with simple overlapping petal design. The sockets each controlled by five acorn pulls; the top cap and finial are pierced. The base is impressed “Handel” on the underside. SIZE: Shade 18″ dia. Lamp is 31″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 8-76324 (15,000-26,000)
