HANDEL OVERLAY HANGING LAMP. Octagonal shaped lamp has large alternating panels at upper section in bright apple green glass with darker striations in both heavily textured and smooth glass. Eight rectangular panels of mauve striated glass are painted on the exterior in green and depicts scenes of foliage, trees, steeple and castle. At lower rim of shade are eight metal appliques synonymous with Handel. The exterior of shade is metal overlaid with a forest pattern. Shade is signed “Handel” on metal tag to interior of shade. Shade is completed with hanging hardware which includes a four light cluster, teepee openwork top cap, hook, chain and ceiling canopy. SIZE: Shade is 24″ dia. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with very few is any tight hairlines. Hardware is a reproduction. 5-62214 (2,500-3,500)
