HANDEL OVERLAY HANGING LAMP. Octagonal shaped lamp has large alternating panels at upper section in olive green glass with darker striations in both heavily textured and smooth glass. Eight rectangular panels of mauve striated glass are painted on the exterior in green and depicts scenes of foliage, trees, steeple and castle. At lower rim of shade are eight metal appliques synonymous with Handel. The exterior of shade is metal overlaid with a forest pattern. Shade is signed “Handel” on metal tag to interior of shade. Shade is completed with hanging hardware which includes a five light cluster, teepee openwork top cap, hook, chain and ceiling canopy. This hardware ends with acorn pulls. SIZE: Shade is 24″ dia. CONDITION: Shade is very good to excellent. There is minor oxidation to metal work. Hardware is reproduction. 5-62213 (2,500-3,500)
