FINE GLASS SINUMBRA LAMP, PROBABLY BACCARAT. Mid-19th century. Now electrified, the swirled glass stepped fluid lamp base mounted with a lower brass ring fitted with jeweled 7″ prisms, the upper ring mounted with jeweled 10″ prisms, fitted with a fine cut and etched frosted-to-clear shade. SIZE: 30-1/4″ overall h. CONDITION: Lamp electrified but not drilled, burner absent. The shade with very minor flake on base rim; shade appears original to base. The upper ring missing one prism, the lower ring with complete complement of fourteen prisms. Many prisms with chips of varying sizes. Otherwise very good condition overall, in need of a cleaning. 9-94150 (1,500-2,500)
