CROOK CANE WITH A SILVER WILD BOAR. There are oak leaves, acorns and the fierce boar face extending for 3-1/2” at the end of the crook. Boar has cabochon garnet eyes, silver work is very well fashioned. Unmarked silver. There is a 1-1/2” white metal and iron ferrule. Shaft is dark wood, possibly yew. Probably Continental, Circa 1870. SIZE: 36-1/2” l. CONDITION: Very good. At the end of the oak leaves were small brads to hold in to the cane which are not present. 9-28163 (700-1000)
