*SCARCE SWISS 06/24 BERN LUGER & RIG. SN 16029. Cal. 30 Luger. Scarce Swiss Luger with 4-3/4″ bbl, “WAFFENFABRIK BERN” on front toggle link with Geneva cross & has grip safety. Fitted with wide border walnut grips & correct wood base magazine numbered “83”. Accompanied by a correct brown leather Swiss holster with shoulder strap D-rings on front & rear edges and a spare mag pouch stitched to top of flap. Back of holster is marked “NIKLAUS RUDOLF / BURGDORF” in an old cartouche. PROVENANCE: Doug Smith Collection. CONDITION: Extremely fine plus, all numbered parts are matching. Overall retains 98-99% strong orig factory blue & about 95% orig straw colors thinning on safety lever & trigger. Grips show light wear with a few chipped diamonds. Magazine bottom has a crack, otherwise is extremely fine. Mechanics are crisp, brilliant shiny bore. Holster is very good showing heavy wear & moderate soil. 4-36175 JR220 & BS (2,000-3,000)
