UNUSUAL FRENCH BRASS CONICAL CLOCK. Circa 1875. The brass movement mounted within a brass globe with Roman numeral chapter ring, the filigreed hands mounted within a cast-brass scrolled rosette above a time-only aperture, the clock mounted on gimbals affixed by displayed eagle fasteners, the whole surmounted by 3-arm brass compass, the spherical pendulum mounted in the center. The whole raised on a stepped and turned cherry plinth, terminating in three adjustable brass feet. SIZE: 24-1/2″ h.
