TWO DELFT TILES, WORCESTER BOWL AND OVAL BOX. 18th & 19th century. The first tile of a farmer feeding pigs at trough. Second tile with a sailing ship. A “kakiemon” Worcester bowl in Amari pattern and an oval blue and white decorated box with lid marked in underglaze-blue “S.C/T”. SIZE: 1) 6″ x 6″ 2) 5-3/4″ x 5-3/4″; bowl 5-3/4″ dia; oval box 2″ x 4″ x 2-3/4″. PROVENANCE: From the private collection of Dorothy-Lee Jones. CONDITION: Both tiles showing normal wear to glaze with chips in corners and edges. The Worcester bowl with roughness to rim with wear to gilding. Shallow foot rim chips. Oval box very good overall. 9-23327 (300-500)
