ALPHONSE BIRCK (French, 1859-) BEDOUIN ENCAMPMENT. Oil on canvas desert scene shows two tents with Bedouin inhabitants, a white horse stands outside and a camel train is seen arriving from the distance. Yellow ivory desert floor with Mesa type rock background. Signed lower right “A Birck” and inscribed “Bou-Saada 92”. Housed in a good ribbed edge old frame with gold liner. SIZE: 13-1/2” x 21-1/2”. CONDITION: Relined on new stretcher, minor inpainting. Very good. 9-71910 (3,000-5,000)
