**THREE US M-1 CARBINES. Cal. 30 M-1. This lot is of orig finished guns. 1) Inland Div. SN 629588. Orig unaltered 10/44 gun. 2) Saginaw S.G. SN 3523747. Has been rebuilt but retains its orig finish. 3) Inland Div. SN 939999. Orig finish receiver with no upgrades but has been through an arsenal, some parts have been changed. CONDITION: 1) This 10/44 gun retains approximately 95% orig finish with primary wear being on the top of the bolt and the bbl from the band being put on and removed as well as being in racks. The only thing that appears to have been changed is push button safety is marked “EW” but with the government free trade program that the M-1 carbines retained this safety could very well be orig as condition and age match the gun. Gun retains a type-3 rear sight with a type-2 bbl band. The stock is “IO” marked low wood with the large wheel very prominent on right side and what appears to be orig sling. Has 4-rivet hand guard which is proper but finish does not match. Bright shiny bore. 2) Gun is arsenal rebuilt but retains orig finish. Has typical upgrades, has type-3 round bolt, type-2 milled rear sight, bayonet lug, and type-3 safety and mag catch assemblies. Gun is in good condition with scuffs and dings throughout on the “IR” marked low wood stock. Receiver assembly is in 80-85% condition with bbl and front sight assembly about 60%. Bright shiny bore. 3) Rifle retains some 90% of its orig finish with type-1 rear sight and front bbl band assemblies. Somewhere along the line, probably in the arsenal, this gun got mixed up with a late Winchester as it has a late Winchester trigger guard assembly, slide, and round bolt, all “W” marked. The stock is also Winchester low wood but has been modified where the pistol grip meets the comb. The buttplate has also been painted black. Shiny bore. 4-57956 BK70 (1,000-1,600)
