*L.C. SMITH GRADE 3E DOUBLE BARREL SHOTGUN. Cal. 12ga. Fine old shotgun with 28” bbls, choked FULL/IMPCYL with tapered matted rib, large front ivory bead and brass middle bead. Lockplates and receiver are lightly engraved with arabesque patterns, and 2 quail on the left lockplate with 2 ducks on the right lockplate. Equipped with Hunter 1 trigger. Wood is moderately figured with a black tipped splinter forearm and semi-pistol grip buttstock, 14-14” over a solid red recoil pad. SN 205297. CONDITION: Good to very good. Bbls retain most of a fine reblack. Receiver and lockplates are silvered case colors with some gray metal color on the receiver. Wood is sound and retains most of a refinish. Pad is new.
